1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Drain & Dose ("the App", "our Service", or "we"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Application.
2. Strict Medical Disclaimer & Physician Primacy
DRAIN & DOSE IS A LOGGING, SCHEDULING, AND ORGANIZATIONAL UTILITY ONLY. IT DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE, CLINICAL DIAGNOSIS, PHARMACOLOGICAL RECOMMENDATIONS, OR TREATMENT ORDERS.
You must always strictly follow the exact prescription, dosing limits, frequency, and instructions provided directly by your physician, surgeon, or licensed healthcare provider. Drain & Dose does not evaluate medical suitability, drug interactions, contraindications, or allergies. Any medication schedule, intervals, reminders, or calculations displayed in the application are entered and managed by the user based solely on their own doctor's instructions.
Never alter, initiate, discontinue, or stagger prescribed medications or surgical drain interventions without explicit orders from your medical team. If you experience adverse symptoms, severe pain, bleeding, or allergic reactions, contact your doctor or emergency services immediately.
3. Safety & Zero Self-Harm Policy
Drain & Dose is designed exclusively to support safe, prescribed recovery regimens:
- No Self-Harm or Abuse: The App must never be used to facilitate dangerous medication ingestion, drug abuse, overdose, or self-harm.
- Strict Interval Adherence: Built-in cooldown timers and gap warnings are provided to assist users in preventing accidental medication stacking (such as acetaminophen or opioids). Users must strictly adhere to physician-prescribed dosage maximums.
4. User Data Sovereignty & No Cloud Storage Buckets
All user logs and recovery data remain exclusively on the user's local hardware. Drain & Dose does not operate remote cloud storage buckets for your medical uploads. You retain 100% ownership of your data and can delete all local records instantly through the in-app settings.
5. AI Development & Transparency Policy
AI-assisted software engineering tools were utilized during software development to build and test the application codebase. The App itself performs deterministic arithmetic and logic—it does NOT employ autonomous generative AI models to diagnose symptoms or prescribe medical therapies.
6. Authenticity & Zero Fake Testimonials
We are committed to medical integrity. All marketing materials on drainanddose.com reflect actual app capabilities. We prohibit and reject fabricated testimonials, fake reviews, or deceptive endorsements.
7. In-App Purchases & Lifetime Licenses
Purchases of Drain & Dose Pro (Lifetime license) are processed via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Refund requests and billing inquiries are governed by Apple and Google app store policies respectively.
8. Total Release & Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DRAIN & DOSE, ITS DEVELOPERS, CREATORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO:
- Medication administration, dosages taken, missed doses, drug interactions, or adverse reactions.
- Surgical drain tracking, measurement accuracy, fluid interpretation, or timing of drain removal.
- Any reliance on notifications, timers, schedules, or reports generated by the App.
YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT ALL HEALTHCARE AND MEDICATION DECISIONS ARE MADE SOLELY BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR LICENSED PHYSICIANS.
